Need an HVAC solution that provides instant heating and cooling? With zone technology you’ll get exactly that. Without the need for ducts, you won’t get any leakage associated with central air systems. Instead, you get all of the heating and cooling generated instantly from your wall mounted unit. Seamlessly switch from heating to cooling with heat pump technology when it's time to turn on the heat and turn off the air. When switching operation, this unit uses a reversing valve to switch the refrigerant flow from your condenser to your air handlers. Keep in mind all of your air handlers that are connected to one condenser can have one mode of operation. If you have zones that need cooling while others that need heating, you will need to utilize two condensers.
The 36,000 BTU MRCOOL Olympus ductless heat pump system comes with 3 zone wall mounted air handlers. The two 9,000 BTU air handlers are ideal for bedrooms or offices between 350 to 400 square feet and the 18,000 BTU air handler is good for spaces between 700 and 1000 square feet, like a living room or meeting room. Included are 3 wall mounted units, one pre charged condenser, three wireless remotes for each of your air handlers and an insulated lineset, providing you nearly everything you need to get the job completed.
